New York native, Leonay Reina is an actress with big dreams. Growing up in her Nuyorican family, Leonay was surrounded by the beauty and importance of art, storytelling, and community. At a young age, Leonay started exploring the many facets of the entertainment industry; commercial work, film/tv, print, and stage. At age 10, she was cast in her first off-Broadway musical, Little Miss Sunshine at 2ndStage Theatre, directed by James Lapine with music and lyrics by William Finn. She has been working professionally ever since.

Leonay recently Pace University this spring, earning her BFA in Musical Theater. Post-grad, Leonay looks forward to exploring what the industry has to offer after having earned so much knowledge, gratitude, and understanding for and about the art form. Leonay was recently a female ensemble member in the upcoming Evita revival directed by Sammi Cannold. She is grateful for every moment she spends onstage.
